ABOUT ME...

Born in Sweden. Studied house planning. After serving in the Swedish army entered as an engineer and involved with the Swedish housingprogram. Started to paint as a hobby in the early 60`s and studied painting on evening classes. Spent lots of time in Spain and got some influences there. The main styles are abstract expressionism and surrealism but a number of portraits have also been put on canvas. Various exhibitions in private galleries in the province of Vaestergoetland 1965-1975. Since 1975 made a long stay and resumed again 1999. Has a premiere portfolio on absolutearts.com since 2003. Represented on art-mine.com 2004-2005.

To paint has always been a challenge to me. My uncle was a painter and my father was a sculptor, carving in wood. I learned a lot from them. However, I was very indeterminate as a young, how to express myself on canvas and develop my painting, how to chose style, media etc. I was a great admirer of the expressionists as well of surrealists like Salvador Dali. Still very unsure of where is my homeyard in the enormous cityblocks of art, I let the brush be conducted by influence of my emotions. Sometimes resulting in creatures with yelling faces in a mess of colours. Sometimes in themes with abstemious reticence.
